THIS EXHIBITION IS CLOSED – Three time travelling girls need your help to get back to the future. By helping them, you come to realise how your lifestyle impacts our future climate.

In a bizarre accident, three girls from the future have crashed in our time in their time pods. The girls, Midori, Kiiro and Aka, are in fact the same girl – but in three different versions from three possible futures 100 years from now.

In Midori’s green future, the climate goals have been reached and the world is in balance. In Kiiro’s yellow future, resources are scarce, people live in densely populated cities and the climate is unstable. In Aka’s red future, eco systems are breaking down, sea levels have risen by a lot, and people have adapted themselves to a lifestyle of deprivation.

This fall Experimentarium presents the interactive exhibition ”Climatopia – Travellers From The Future”. Your mission is to help the three girls get back to the future. However, you can only send the girls back to one future – so which future will it be? The green, the yellow or the red?

The answer depends on the choices you make in your daily life – and of course in the exhibition: What you eat, what transportation you use, the things you buy and the energy you use.

In the exhibition, the whole family can explore and experiment with sustainable lifestyle and ponder the question: Should we live differently? At the same time you deepen your understanding of how your lifestyle impacts our future climate.
